About

The portal on Gaia leads the player to another world full with autumn colors, new areas to explore and new enemies to fight. In addition, trolls of this world have captured three NPC's (The farmer, the tailor and the captain) which the player needs to save in order to progress in the game. This world also introduces new areas called dungeons, which are separate zones underground on the worlds surface.

There are three dungeons on Trollheim. Another new feature is the introduction of unique stronger characters in different biomes. Encountering them is almost like boss fighting. After rescuing the captain, the player will have the ability to hop on a boat, which will take the player to the other side of the world, where another portal must be fixed to progress.

Dungeons & Arenas

There are a total of 3 dungeons and 1 arena on Trollheim.

Dungeons have resources that sometimes cannot be found on the surface, but are required to progress in the game, for example, a Source Core or a Gold Key.

Arena Dungeons are time based dungeons with an arena at the end that allow entry every 12 hours. The timer can be reduced by watching 3 ads per day. Each ad removes 4 hours from the timer. There are only 3 different resources that can be obtained in specific worlds inside the designated dungeons. Trollheim has one Arena dungeon with 10 different variants of map layouts.

Merchants

Merchants play a big part in the game if you have excess resources. You can sell unwanted resources to specific merchants for coin, Trollheim is one of the few worlds that you can also use Coin to purchase a resource.

Adventure Quests

Trollheim is the first location to unlock the adventurer. The adventurer offers you daily quests that can be completed to earn

Quest Tokens. First time using the Trollheim Adventurer you will only receive quests for Gaia until you have 100% completed Trollheim. As you progress through the game the adventurer will offer more quests in other worlds.
